I must confess I made some progress during this summer vacation. First, I finally managed to read the whole trilogy 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami, second, I managed to get into the Crow Pose without hitting the ground, and third, I did not get a sunburn. Days by the sea are always relaxing, especially if you have your family, camera, a big hat and a good book with you. This time I made sure I took good care of my skin and hair, because other times I was too lazy and probably too ignorant to do it. Taking care of your skin is simple, all I did was moisturize (probably six times per day) and when I got back home I made this really good scrub by using coconut oil, sugar and coffee. Did I tell you I make my own face-masks and scrubs? Comment below if you’d like me to write a post about it. Anyhow, besides swimming, tanning, reading and eating, we visited some places around the area and tried to be a little more creative on how we spent the trip. Before I used to think that spending days by the sea meant spending days ONLY by the sea, but now I believe that each trip should also be filled with other interesting things like visiting historical places, exploring a new place, learning new skills… why not? Make your life interesting, nobody else is going to do it for you.
