I am currently listening to a new song from Damien Rice called “The Greatest Bastard” and I couldn’t help but start a new post. This song somehow got me thinking how much things are changing and how skilled, tough and capable a person must be to adjust those changes. These past few days have been very busy for me, and I realized just now that I hadn’t had time to absorb some things. However, things are going great and I am (a little bit) proud of myself for working this much and finishing almost every task I had to finish. I even gave myself a pat on the back.
One other thing before I fall asleep on top of my keyboard, I am currently reading “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and I came across this quote I liked and wanted to share with you.
“Holly Golightly: You know those days when you get the mean reds?
Paul Varjak: The mean reds. You mean like the blues?
Holly Golightly: No. The blues are because you’re getting fat, and maybe it’s been raining too long. You’re just sad, that’s all. The mean reds are horrible. Suddenly you’re afraid, and you don’t know what you’re afraid of. Do you ever get that feeling?”
P.S I hope you don’t get to feel the ‘mean reds’ tomorrow.
