Streets of Venice

A very important part of my three weeks in Slovenia were trips that me and my friends booked. These trips included visits to Vienna, Venice, Bled and Emerald River. Even though I am going to write a post for each one of them, I thought I’d start with Venice.

Almost every person describes Venice as a place for lovers, but I am going to try to refute this theory. Venice is a calm and artistic place. Almost every corner has its own uniqueness, colors and textures. My visit to Venice happened to be on a hot day and every time my head was exposed to the sun, I could feel my body shaking. However, in order to avoid the sun, we explored the core of the city and enjoyed the streets that had no cars. One of the most amazing things about Venice is its architecture. Since I am a sucker for flowers (especially tulips), I was astonished to see that almost every house had flowers hanging on their windows.

Venice is really a romantic, unique, attention-grabbing place and lovers would love it (too much mention of the word ‘love’ in one sentence), but I would personally recommend this place to every painter, photographer, musician, food-lover, architect and artist in general.
If anyone wants to be inspired and astonished, go to Venice.

Yours truly,
